A reader on strategizing

A reader on strategizing is a compilation of 10 influential contributions from 15 acclaimed authors. In sum their contributions add to a deeper understanding of strategizing - the complex, contextual interplay that takes place within firms, outside firms, and between firms.

Each contribution presents an alternative framework, which can be used to analyze strategizing.

Within the scope of this reader strategizing is conceptualized as a phenomenon emerging in:

1. interplay between individuals and occupational groups within firms
2. interplay between competing and co-operating firms across markets
3. an institutional context, guided and constrained by institutionalized norms, rules, and laws.
